Dmitri Hvorostovsky refused performances at the Vienna state Opera because of the need to undergo a new course of chemotherapy. This was the singer announced on his page in the social network.

In the Austrian capital Hvorostovsky was to speak in the lead role of the play “Simon Boccanegra”. According to the artist, he is confident in the positive result of the treatment and looking forward

to subsequent statements.

Dmitri Hvorostovsky thanked everyone for the good wishes, positive energy and love.
