MOSCOW, September 5 – RIA Novosti. Filming Russian military drama “The Legend of escape”, the main role of which perform Konstantin Habensky and famous for the film “Highlander”, Christopher Lambert, started in Lithuania, the press service of the film project.
The project idea came from the Minister culture of Russia Vladimir Medina, it was supported by producers Elmira Aynulova and Natalia Darashkevich ( “Hero”). The script was written by Alexander Adabashyan filmstrip in the film is based on the book by Ilya Vasilyev “Alexander Pechersky: Breakthrough to immortality.” Director of the film – Andrew Malukov.The film is based on events that took place during the Second World War, the Nazi death camp Sobibor in Poland. Lieutenant Soviet Army Alexander Pechersky, was captured and ended up in a concentration camp, just 3 weeks is possible to plan an international uprising of prisoners from Western Europe and Poland.
Principal photography will take place in Lithuania, where they were lined up decorations camp drawings made by members of the archaeological excavations at Sobibor.
The role of the Crypt will perform Habensky ( “The Geographer Drank His globe Away”, “method”, “Night Watch”). Lambert ( “Highlander”) will play the commandant of Sobibor, Oberscharführer SS Karl Frenzel. Also in the film are shot Maria Kozhevnikova, Felice Yankell, Dainius Kazlauskas, Mikhalina Olshansky, Wolfgang Cerny, Philip Reinhardt.
