In the United States found unknown sketches by Paul Cezanne. They were discovered during the restoration of the back of the paintings by French artist-postimpressionist display in the museum Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia. According to the local press, there are two watercolors by Cézanne depicting landscapes of the south of France. On the reverse side of the picture “Sierra de l’Etoile” Cezanne painted trees, and on the back of paintings called “Trees” – the house and the same mountain range. He often these mountains, located not far from his home in Aix-en-Provence. One of the drawings done in pencil, the other – watercolor. These paintings collector and inventor Albert Barnes bought in 1921. Apparently, the existence of sketches one of the owners did not know.
