Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu told reporters that the Air Force continued to strike at militant positions “Islamic state” (IG) in Syria and the Kurdish rebels in Iraq, reports AFP. Mr. Davutoglu made clear that air and ground operations against terrorists will continue. He also said that during the raids across Turkey were detained 590 associates IG and supporters of the PKK.
Earlier, Turkish police conducted in 13 provinces of the country a series of special operations in a result which has been detained more than 250 suspected members of terrorist organizations, including the IG. Almost at the same time the Turkish Air Force fighters attacked the IG control centers in Syria.
