Michael Svetin (real name – Mikhail Semenovich Holtzman) * was born December 11, 1930 in Kiev. From early childhood Sveta talents of comic actor – in the three years of his “speech” collected crowds.
In May 1941, a boy fell ill with tuberculosis, and parents with great difficulty after procuring a ticket, just before the outbreak of war ten year old son was sent to a sanatorium in Alupka. When Hitler’s troops came to the Crimea resort was evacuated to Tiberda. Mother went to Mikhail with the younger son Lenya.
