Moscow authorities have proposed to introduce patents for street artists – RBC

Street musicians and artists in Moscow may be required to buy the patent. Told the head of the Department of Culture Alexander Kibovsky, reports Tass.

According to him, this measure could resolve disputes between street artists and residents of houses near which they play. Head Moscow City Duma Commission for Culture and Mass Communications Yevgeny Gerasimov told the agency “Moscow” that the city parliament may appeal to the State Duma with a proposal to introduce special patents for the activities of street musicians. “When a patent is very clear that it is assumed that does not rely” – he explained.
