Vests and procession: in Russia celebrated the Day of Airborne – RBC

2 August and throughout Russia marks Day of Airborne. In Moscow, many Russian paratroopers traditionally gather to celebrate this holiday in Gorky Park. On Vasilevsky descent held a gala concert and a charity meal from the field kitchen. Day of the patron saint of the Russian airborne troops Prophet Elijah also noted hierarchal liturgy in the Church of Elijah on China-town. After that, the paratroopers went in procession on Ilyinke to Red Square, where a thanksgiving service
