Hersonissos – ancient Greek city on the site where later there was a Byzantine colony, Russian called it Korsun. That’s where Prince Vladimir was baptized. Archaeological excavations of the city come from the XIX century. In 2013 Hersonissos declared a UNESCO World Heritage List.
