Moscow, July 2, 2015, 07:23 – REGNUM On Wednesday, July 1, Moscow hosted the award ceremony XV International Tchaikovsky Competition. The jury, as it should be according to the regulations, to determine the best performers in the 3 categories of instrument – piano, violin and cello – and 2 vocal – male and female solo singing.
According to BBC News, a gold coin XV International Tchaikovsky Competition Tchaikovsky among pianists became Russian musician Dmitri Masleev from Ulan-Ude. Second place went to American George Lucas Lee and Russian Geniušas. The third prize went to Daniel Kharitonov (Russia) and Sergei Redkin (RF).
The best recognized cellist Andrei Ionita from Romania, who beat the main contenders for the “gold” – Alexander Ramm (Russia) and Alexander Buzlov (RF) .
The first prize and a gold medal in the category “Violin” was not awarded. Second place went to musician Taiwanese Tseng Yu-Chen.
The best among vocalists became a spokeswoman for the Russian Yulia Matochkina and baritone Mongolia Ganbaatar Ariunbaatar.
Recall International Tchaikovsky Competition is held every 4 years . In 2015, the 15th in a row a music contest is timed to the 175th anniversary of the composer.
