Russian Defence Minister, Army General Sergei Shoigu, admits the possibility of private investment in the construction and operation of production and logistics centers (PLC) in the interests of the military establishment to reduce the burden on the federal budget.

According to the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry, 24 PLC will be built until 2020 of the year. These complexes are equipped with advanced technologies accounting and processing of goods “form the Ministry of Defence unified logistics system inventories and technical means”.

The press service specified that currently completing the construction of the first phase of the PLC “Nara “including administrative complex, the laboratory of fuels and lubricants and propellants, different stores, tents, mobile shelters for equipment, engineering and communication networks. It is expected that the annual turnover of the PLC “Nara” will be more than 130 thousand tons.
