Ukrainian channel is going to be judged because of the ban of the Russian sitcom – Lenta.ru

Ukrainian TV channel “1 + 1″ is going to sue the State Agency of Ukraine for Film Affairs (State Committee for Cinematography) due to the ban of broadcasting of Russian TV series “Kitchen”. This was on Saturday, 27 February, reports TASS with reference to the transmission of information TSN.

Total to date “in the framework of the protection of Ukraine’s information space” State Committee for Cinematography banned already 423 film and TV series.

The Ministry of culture has made a list of Russian and world culture figures that “endanger national security of Ukraine.” In the list there were 14 people, in particular, Oleg Gazmanov, Iosif Kobzon, Valery, Sergei Bezrukov, Mikhail Boyarsky, Nikolay Rastorguev, Ivan Okhlobystin, Michael Porechenkov, Grigory Leps and Gerard Depardieu and others.
