Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will not attend the celebrations in Moscow on May 9 to mark the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, said the Secretary General of the Cabinet of Ministers Yoshihide Suga.

According to the official, the decision was made for reasons related to the work schedule premiere.

Instead Shinzo Abe Japan at the parade will represent the country’s ambassador to Russia Tikahito Harada.

Earlier, to participate in the celebrations have already given many world leaders. In particular, do not come to Moscow the leaders of the United States, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, Norway and Britain.
