Media: Led Zeppelin musicians questioned in case of plagiarism composition Stairway To Heaven – TASS

NEW YORK, 3 February. / TASS /. The musicians of the legendary British band Led Zeppelin Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones last month summoned for questioning in the case of plagiarism of one of the biggest hits of the team – the song Stairway To Heaven. This was reported Bloomberg.

According to him, members of the group were questioned separately in pre-trial investigation in the Los Angeles court. All allegations of plagiarism they deny.

In May 2014 Spirit of the American group’s lawyer filed a lawsuit against Led Zeppelin and their record company Warner Music. He argues that the Stairway To Heaven is like a Taurus song, written in 1968. At the same time representatives of Warner Music insist that Page and Plant have written a song in 1971.
