The plane of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency on Tuesday, December 16 brought the famous Russian poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko, from Rostov-na-Donu to Moscow for treatment at the Burdenko Institute of Neurosurgery, reports Tass.
According to the agency “Interfax”, Yevtushenko was accompanied by a team of doctors Burdenko Research Institute, the state of the poet found to be satisfactory.
December 14 Yevgeny Yevtushenko, who was in Rostov-on-Don on tour, was taken to the intensive care unit of one of the city hospitals with suspected acute heart failure. A day earlier, the poet took part in the gala concert “Courage to remember!” under the auspices of UNESCO, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the International Day of the Holocaust. On Sunday he planned to hold a recital of “Life is an adventure”.
