Died a famous writer, author of “Winter Cherry”, “Sherlock Holmes” and “Mary Poppins” – NEWSru.com

In Moscow, a 79-year life died a famous Russian screenwriter, writer Vladimir Valutskiy, according to “Interfax” with reference to the Union of Cinematographers (SC) RF

Vladimir was born Valutskiy in 1936 in Moscow. In 1964, he graduated from the scriptwriting faculty of VGIK (Yevgeny Gabrilovich).

During his life Valutskiy create a script to more than 60 films and television series, including – “Chief of Chukotka,” “Seven Brides Zbrueva Corporal,” “Mary Poppins, Goodbye”, “Winter Cherry” “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson,” “Admiral”, “Yesenin”, “Bless the Woman”.

One of the last works Valutskiy – Alexei Andrianov’s movie “The Spy,” based on the novel by Boris Akunin.

Valutskiy was married to actress Alla Demidova.
