Chris Martin: “Coldplay’s next album will be the last” – Hello!

The group Coldplay is now at the peak of his popularity: numerous concerts, won prestigious awards, nominations, including “Grammy”, and much more. However, its frontman Chris Martin said in a recent interview that the upcoming seventh album, tentatively titled band A Head Full of Dreams, might be their last job.

This is our seventh work, and we perceive it such as the latest Harry Potter book or something like that. Not to say that once you see some other thing, but this – the completion of something … Now we create a composition that they sound different. Be a part of our team just so much fun,

– Chris told in an interview with Radio BBC Radio 1.

Also, the musician added that unlike their last album at the moment – Ghost Storie, for submission to the seventh album, they go on a big tour.

I think we should think that it is – the last work that we do. Otherwise we would not have invested in it all the best.

Well, the news is very sad for the fans of Coldplay, but hope still springs eternal. Hopefully, the team will be a long time to delight us with their performances and new songs. In the meantime, we will wait for the movie Angelina Jolie’s “Unbroken”, for which Coldplay recorded the soundtrack, and the ceremony of “Grammy”, where the group is represented in two categories – “Best Pop Album” and “Best duo / group performance.”
