Director of the award Maria Revyakin noted the great interest of Russians to the theater arts.
“the country is a theatrical boom, a growing interest in theatres. They develop differently and rapidly,” said Revyakin. This year the prize was claimed 900 performances, of which 145 were nominated performances (including 70 regional). According to the Director of the award this year has significantly expanded the geography of participants. For the first time among the nominees theatres from Glazov, Kemerovo, Naberezhnye members, Norilsk, Tver and Qom.
the Festival “Golden mask” will take place from February to April of next year, the awards ceremony will be held on April 19, reports TASS.
