Canadian singer, songwriter and poet Leonard Cohen died in his sleep after night fell. It is reported bi-Bi-si with reference to the Manager of the artist Robert B. Cory.
According to him, the death of the singer was “sudden, unexpected and peaceful”.
Leonard Cohen died on 7 November at the age of 82 years. However, the public became aware three days after the death of the singer.
the Musician was buried on 10 November in the city of Montreal in Canada. As written by his son Adam Cohen, “in the presence of relatives and a few loyal friends he was interred in a simple pine box next to his mother and father. Like he asked”.
Cohen was born September 21, 1934 in Quebec, Canada in a family of Jewish immigrants. He learned to play guitar from childhood, and began writing poetry in 1960-ies. His musical career Cohen began in the USA in 1966, and in 1967 released their first album Songs of Leonard.
World famous Cohen brought such songs as Hallelujah, Suzanne, Bird on the Wire and I’m Your Man.
