Finance Minister Ukraine Alexander danyluk said that problems with the financing of the international music contest “Eurovision” no, it’s about changing the venue is not.
“Recently, some media appeared information about the alleged possible transfer of “Eurovision” from Ukraine in Russia in connection with the alleged funding problems… This information is absolutely untrue… We are fully funded “Eurovision”, – the Minister wrote on his page on the social network Facebook.
According to him, the necessary preparations for the competition provides the organizing Committee under the leadership of the Minister of culture Eugene Nischuk.
Message stating that “Eurovision” could take place in Russia from-for financial problems in Ukraine, appeared in the German magazine Bild. However, the organizing Committee denied this and assured that preparations are progressing as planned. Prime Minister of Ukraine Alexander Groysman called the message about the transfer of the contest “the attempt to discredit Ukraine in the world”.
