Moscow. May 18th. Interfax MOSCOW – Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on Monday took part in the opening ceremony of the renovated underground museum of archeology at the Manege Square in Moscow.
“Today we are opening a wonderful museum of archeology of Moscow. Unfortunately, in 1997 it was opened to the serious violations”, – said Sobyanin, visiting the establishment.
According to him, Museum practically anew renovated, restored utilities, network, in addition, the agency delivered the most modern museum equipment.
The mayor is convinced that the Museum of Archaeology of Moscow will serve Muscovites and visitors for years.
The mayor, along with the head of the Department of Culture Alexander Kibovsky familiarized with the exposition, including ancient archaeological objects found on Manezh Square, chatted with Moscow schoolchildren, visit the museum.
