The city of the Amur region Belogorsk May 6 opening of the monument to the soldier politely. Told portal Amur.info.

The sculpture height of about two meters was installed in front of the administration of Belogorsk. The monument depicts a soldier who is holding a kitten.

The prototype of the sculpture was a photograph, taken in the Crimea in 2014, but unlike the soldier depicted on the image, the face of iron soldier is hidden under the mask.

The sculpture was made in the Urals city Kasli, it weighs about 400 kg. On the creation of the monument took about 1.3 million rubles.

As previously noted Amur.info, unveiling of the monument dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory monument was constructed through donations of citizens and legal persons.
