Opera singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky first appeared on stage after treatment, reports TASS .

As noted, the performance of Russian opera masters Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Anna Netrebko, who perform lead roles in Verdi’s “Il Trovatore” is held in the concert hall New York’s Metropolitan Opera with the full house.

This was announced by the representative of the theater Metropolitan.

The audience greeted Hvorostovsky a standing ovation, and orchestra conductor Marco Armilyato after the end of the opera, invited the Russian singer to come forward then the musicians threw Dmitry underfoot white roses.

Previous reported that the opera singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky will open the season at the Metropolitan Opera, interrupting the course of radiation therapy.

In June the opera singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
