Chchetyrehseriynaya adaptation of the works of Arthur Conan Doyle was shot on the play American playwright William Gillette. The play was written in 1899 in collaboration with the very Conan Doyle.
The role of Sherlock Holmes in the film played very Gillette. The image of Holmes, created by Gillette on the screen, has become canonical. The film was released in the format Blu-ray / DVD.
