first Far Eastern international music festival will be held in Vladivostok from 30 July to 10 August. On it will be invited artists from Japan, Republic of Korea, China, USA and Europe.

 

This is the artistic director and CEO of the Mariinsky Theatre Valery Gergiev told reporters in Vladivostok, where he was on the Maritime Mariinsky gave four concerts as part of the tour Symphony Orchestra of Russian cities on the eve of the Moscow Easter Festival XV.

Valery Gergiev promised that the Mariinsky Theatre will bring to the festival and its best forces, in particular the bright dancer from the Republic of Korea, the first soloist of the ballet troupe of the Mariinsky Theater Kim Cimino. He expressed the hope that his speech in Vladivostok “will be of interest in South Korea”.

 

Among the performances that can be shown at the festival, artistic director of the Mariinsky Theatre named Giuseppe Verdi’s opera “Simon Boccanegra”, “The Love for Three Oranges” by Prokofiev and “The Magic Flute” by Mozart, which for the Maritime scene put the famous French director Alain Maratrat.
