The leader of the radical movement “Taliban” (an organization recognized as terrorist and banned in Russia) Akhtar Mohammad Mansour, also known as Mullah Akhtar Mansoor was born in 1965 (according to other sources – in 1960, 1963 or 1968). In 1995, Mansour joined the radical movement “Taliban”.

In the days of Taliban rule (1996-2001 gg.) He served as the governor of Kandahar, and then Minister of Civil Aviation and Transportation in the so-called “Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan,” the Taliban. After the beginning of the antiterrorist operation in Afghanistan, he moved to Pakistan and soon became a member of the governing council of the movement.
