Kuznetsov was arrested on April 19 on April 21 in the framework of a criminal investigation, she was arrested by 15 May. In late April, Kuznetsova was charged with fraud in the amount of 4 million rubles at the conclusion of the state contract for the supply of security equipment to the Russian Museum.

Earlier, Director Vladimir Gusev told the Russian Museum, which will not remove Kuznetsov from office before completion investigation. According to him, after the internal audit in the museum fact fraud on a large scale has not been confirmed.

Tass quoted a source previously reported that Kuznetsov and CEO of the Museum of the supplier arrested in a criminal case brought by 15 April against unknown persons.
