MOSCOW, November 2 – RIA Novosti. The famous American actor, former senator from the Republican Party, Fred Dalton Thompson, died at the age of 73 in Nashville (Tennessee) on Sunday, reports the Associated Press referring to the statement of relatives of the actor.
According to the agency, the cause of death of the actor became a recurrence of lymphoma.
Thompson during his career has appeared in at least 20 motion pictures, including “In the Line of Fire “” Cape Fear, “” Die Hard 2 “and others. In 2007, he joined the fight for the presidency of the United States, but in January 2008, withdrew from the race.
