We could not say, “Oh, we will not award a prize, we are so sophisticated …” The jury discussed the work of his colleagues, whom he loves. Today it is important for all of us to understand that playing movies that are incomprehensible to anyone but the three individual aesthetes, we lose everything. Winning over the years to “Kinotavr”, “Prisoner of the Caucasus”, “Brother”, “Peculiarities of National Hunting”, “war” is not rested on escapist art house, where it is unclear, movie watching or hallucinations.
