In Nashville at the age of 84 years died a rock guitarist Scotty Moore, who played on the performances of the singer Elvis Presley, reports Reuters. The musician died after several months of illness.

Moore was born in Gedsene, Tennessee. He started playing guitar at the age of eight, in 1954, was hired by a group of producer Sam Phillips, to provide music performances Presley.

The group, which was called the Blue Moon Boys, also included bassist Bill Black and drummer DJ Fontana. Their joint with Presley’s work provided the latter the title of “King of Rock and Roll».
