Eagles Group ceases to exist – REGNUM

Washington, March 14, 2016, 07:28 – REGNUM The well-known American rock band Eagles has ceased to exist, according to the BBC.

Don Henley , one of the founders of the group, in an interview said, that this year the band performed for the last time. The decision of the band Eagles took after the death of Glenn Fry , is also one of the founders of the group. Fry was the lead singer and guitarist of the band, and died in January 2016 of complications from pneumonia.

Don Henley said that the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the album Hotel California and the global group tour will be canceled. Members of the group decided that the withdrawal of the life of one of its founders did not give the group the right to continued existence.

Don Henley and Glenn Fry founded the rock band Eagles in 1971. From 1980 to 1993, the group has not performed together, but then reunited again.

Henley said he now plans a solo musical and concert activity.
