The winner of the” National bestseller “2015 Sergei Nosov said that the award was a surprise to him.

– This is my sixth novel and I expected more from his other books, to me they seem to be much more simple to understand. But it turned out just the opposite – that the novel has received the highest number of points and a grand jury, and at the ceremony, where the winner becomes known. In this book, there are complex techniques, I suspected that they can tire the reader, but it did not happen. My hero – a mathematician, and braces can be interpreted as a way of protection of asylum – possibly false – from the point of absurdity surrounding reality. But the text was presented to me as increasingly complex formula, as it happens in the equations of the school, where first all piled, both the numerator and denominator, and then all of a sudden shrinking, and the answer is very simple – a + b, or root of 2, and in this case is simple – “I love you very much” and the answer – “I love you too.” The answer is simple, though questions still remain.

Sergei Nosov – known writer and playwright, one of his novels – “Mistress of history” – in 2001, entered the final of the Russian “Booker».
