It is not surprising that at a press conference at the ITAR-TASS news agency, dedicated to the festival this year, much attention is paid to regional projects. In particular, from Ekaterinburg. Sergei Kamensky (Museum of the History of Yekaterinburg) spoke about the project “Uralmash: the production of the future”, which promises to be one of the interesting experience of studying not only the history of one of the largest factories (called the “city within a city), but also the history of the city. Nikita Korytin (Ekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts) mentioned the development of the project “Hermitage – Ural” and reminded that the history of relations between the two museums has a long history. During the war, the Hermitage collection were evacuated to the Urals and just kept in the Museum of Fine Arts.
Svetlana Shvetsova (Sverdlovsk Regional Museum) reported that for the first time at the festival will be presented to the memorial house-museum of Tchaikovsky in Alapaevsk. If about a museum in Klin and Votkinsk everyone knows, the Alapaevsk, where the composer lived as a child, when his father, Ilya Petrovich ran Alapaevskih and Nevyansk plants heirs Yakovlev, is less known. Meanwhile, they say that memories of their stay in Alapaevsk (though short-lived, just a half years) inspired the composer to create a “Children’s Album”. Whatever it was, the house-museum of Tchaikovsky in Alapaevsk will be presented among music museums. Here, by the way, it is worth mentioning that the exhibition festival this year will be based on a thematic basis. Museums unite “interests”: historical – in a single unit, literary – in other musical theater in the third … Plus separately – art museums, and, separately, – science and technology. This thematic planning unexpectedly supplemented with two exceptions – by the territorial principle.
Twenty Moscow museums (including regional, federal and private) will perform one block. In the same role, “exceptions to the rule” will perform Ulyanovsk region, which is declared a special guest of the festival. As a guest, she will present a draft of the museum-tourism cluster, which has absorbed all city and regional museums and financed from the federal budget. The festival will also be an agreement on the opening of representative offices in Ulyanovsk Pushkin Museum. AS Pushkin.
“assemblage point” of the cultural program will be two anniversaries – the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 175th anniversary of the birth of Tchaikovsky, as well as the fact that this year was declared the Year of literature. One of the central events of the business program will be the forum “Museum Guide”, which will discuss the experience of implementing programs to win the competition Vladimir Potanin Foundation. In particular, “The Changing Museum in a Changing World”, “Museum Guide”, “Troopers Museum.” At last, for the first time to carry out this year, should pay attention to the pros: it supports internship museum staff and inter-museum projects. But the competition for the best museum project is provided on the “Intermuseum.” Participants can claim a victory in four categories: best architectural design, the best educational project, the best project to work with the regional community, the best museum project for the development of local tourism.
