the Moscow city court has temporarily restricted access to pirated copies of TV series “Sherlock”, which was leaked before the premiere of the third episode of the fourth season, scheduled on the First channel on the night of January 16th. About it RIA Novosti was informed in the press service of the court.
“on Monday the court received the statement of the First channel on the limitation of access to pirated copies of the fourth season of the series. On the same day it was reviewed and the judge issued a decision adopting interim measures,” — said the representative of the court.
From that moment, the channel has 15 days to prepare a claim for full blocking pirated content.
the Episode, entitled “Last thing” (The Final Problem) in the Russian voice acting of the First channel illegally appeared on the Internet Saturday, January 14. On British television he was shown at 21:00 local time on Sunday when in Moscow there was a midnight. On Russian TV premiere kicked off a minute later, at 00:01.
the First channel and BBC Worldwide (responsible for sales content corporations abroad) are investigating the incident. The representative of the channel stated that the cause could be hacked. In BBC Worldwide in turn reported that surprised the incident.
Western analysts saw in the incident of deliberate actions of the Russian side, aimed at causing harm to the company “bi-Bi-si”.
