John hurt, British actor, died on 78-m to year of life. He was twice nominated for “Oscar” and is known for his roles in such films as “Alien”, “the elephant Man”, “Harry Potter”
British actor John hurt died at the age of 77 years, reports the Independent. The cause of death is not known.
In June 2015, hurt announced that he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He noted that undergoing treatment and “feels more than optimism, a relatively satisfactory result.” In October of the same year, the actor announced that the cancer was successfully treated.
hurt was born in 1940 in Chesterfield. The actor best known for his roles in the films “Alien”, “Naked official” and “the elephant Man”. In addition, hurt played in the movie “Midnight Express,” “Hellboy: the Hero from the ashes”, “V for Vendetta”, “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the crystal skull”, as well as in a number of films “Harry Potter”.
He was twice nominated for permiy “Oscar”. He is also the winner of the award “Golden globe” for the male role of the second plan in the movie “Midnight Express”.
