Spread widely brains – Mail.Ru

The plot of “Lucy” Luc Besson, by his own admission, came up with ten years ago. It is based on Nietzsche’s thought – “as from a monkey once there was a man, because of the man sooner or later to get a superman.” To make this story look correct, the director consulted with scientists, but science-fiction parable still came out pretty mundane crime thriller with a touch of sci-fi.

Almost at the very beginning of the movie appears in the frame first Lucy – female Australopithecus with sad eyes (her remains were once found in Ethiopia and played a huge role in the modern Anthropology). In the same way – so that’s uncomplicated symbolism – name of the heroine Scarlett Johansson, simple and dumb blonde, went to learn the language on Taiwan. However, like most of her classmates, she prefers to meet with the Chinese in the local bars. And pretty soon finds herself embroiled in a shady deal: she will carry on the continent fashioned drug.

After coincidentally in her body gets an overdose of this drug, Lucy begins to rapidly evolve. It grows wiser by leaps and bounds, learning the most remote corners of his brain and eventually turning into asexual thinking machine. Not fancy omnipotent being, as, for example, in a much more subtle film of the same Besson’s “Angel-A”, and in a typical posthuman, which is the most important task – to catch up and overtake Hollywood supermen.

In this regard, the recent film “Limitless”, where the main idea of also affects the function of the brain, seems to be more convincing if it hero Bradley Cooper with the help of the drug has become a financial genius, then Lucy starts suddenly to control space and time, that taking into account all the circumstances looks pretty absurd.

On the way to sverhochelovechivaniyu Lucy falls quite a lot and very effectively kill. The only character who at least does not prevent it evolve – Professor Norman by Morgan Freeman. His leisurely lectures, in which he outlines his vision for the capacity of the human brain – are rare in the “Lucy” moments when the viewer can take a break from the action scenes. However, for the sake of their beauty visuals and French humor and worth watching “Lucy”. Using while your brain is not ten, but only two to three percent.
