Outstanding English science fiction writer Terry Pratchett has died at the age of 66 years – the Ekho Moskvy radio station

In recent years, he suffered from atypical varieties of Alzheimer’s disease. Despite the diagnosis, he continued to work, and in the summer of last year completed his last book. Pratchett has found worldwide fame thanks to the series of books “The World is Flat”, which has more than 40 works in the genre of satirical fantasy.

In May 2007, Terry Pratchett came to Russia to present his next novel, “The Fifth Elephant.” Then he gave an interview to “Echo of Petersburg”, which told me that happiness was particularly from the fact that he is just a science fiction writer.
