Moscow announced the shortlist of nominees Film Award “Nika” – REGNUM

Moscow, March 11, 2016, 12:58 – REGNUM participants of the so-called “short list” of nominees for the National Film Award “Nika” for 2015 will be announced on the evening of March 11 in Moscow in the cinema club “Eldar”, the official website of film awards.

Long-list of nominees film award was published on February 23, it included 46 domestic films, including “The Dawns Here Are Quiet” Renata Davletyarova, “Dear Hans, Dear Peter,” Alexander Mindadze, “Angels revolution” Alexey Fedorchenko, “Batalon” Dmitry Meshieva, “Under the electric clouds” by Alexei German Jr., “14+” Andrei Zaitsev and others.

The prestigious Film Award “Nika” awarded in Russia since 1988, conducts the ceremony founding artistic director Yuli Gusman Prize. Three times in the history of the prize award in the category “Best Film” received non-Russian tapes, “Mongol”, “Ashik Kerib” and “Faust”. At the same time the directors of all three bands are Soviet and Russian filmmakers, Sergei Bodrov, Sergei Parajanov and Alexander Sokurov.

Most of all film awards “Nika” – 5 awards – from cameraman Yuri Klimenko and director Alexander Sokurov.
