On the Internet, collecting signatures in support of “Tannhauser” – Arguments and Facts – Novosibirsk

Novosibirsk, March 7 – AiF-Novosibirsk.

The petition, converted to Novosibirsk Region Prosecutor’s Office and personally to the prosecutor of the region Evgeny Ovchinnikov , with the request to drop charges against the director of the play «Tannhauser” Timothy Kuljabina and the Director of the Opera and Ballet Theatre Boris Mezdricha, posted on our site change.org.

 
 Recall that the aforementioned persons prosecuted for an administrative violation by h. 2 tbsp. 5.26 of the Administrative Code «Violation of legislation on freedom of conscience, freedom of religion and religious associations”, which will be considered in the Magistrate’s Court Central District of Novosibirsk on March 10.
 
 

The authors of the petition believe that “A work of art, to whom certainly is staging” Tannhauser “and deserved the award more than once, having regalia director, can not restrict someone whatsoever for freedom of religion, since the right to believe or not to believe in any God comes from the will itself to a person’s life ».
