A documentary film about Ukraine won the Grand Prix “Russia” – REGNUM

Ekaterinburg, October 7, 2015, 02:43 – REGNUM In Yekaterinburg summed up the 26th Open Documentary Film Festival «Russia» . He was held in three cities in the Urals during the period from 1 to 5 October and traditionally included screenings of the best contemporary works in the genre of non-fiction films.

According to the results of the competition jury selected the winners in six categories. The main prize of the festival received the motion picture “Everything passes» Tatiana Skabard and the Moscow studio “Beach”, tells the story of the last peaceful summer in the small Ukrainian town of Bratslav. The film refers to the last time when the neighboring nations – Ukrainians, Poles, Jews, Romanians lived in union and harmony. The winners in other categories of the Festival:

The best feature film “Tsurtsula”, the debut of the St. Petersburg director Alexei Nikolaev ;

Best Short Film: “Alien” director Anatoly Dobryakova and the broadcasting company “Udmurtia” from Izhevsk, the city participated in the festival for the first time;

Best Cinematography: film “Spirit in Motion” Moscow studio “Island”; award was given to the operators Alexander Kostenko , Alexander Filippov , Basil Grigolyunas , Dmitry Minenkov , Yuri Ermolin and Jan Jasinski ;

Best Debut: motion picture “Swallow” the Moscow director Denis Prokosheva ;

Special Jury Prize ” For reverent touch of modern and contemporary issue “: the movie” The Outsiders » Paul Fattahutdinova and the film company” Snow “(Ekaterinburg);
