As a result of two explosions in the center of Ankara killed nearly 90 people – BBC Russian

victim of two bomb attacks on the march for peace in the center of Ankara, have killed at least 86 people, reported the Turkish authorities.

Another 186 people were injured, of whom nearly 30 injured are in intensive care.

Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu announced three days of mourning. According to him, there are substantial grounds for believing that the explosions were carried out by two suicide bombers.

This is the bloodiest act of violence committed in Turkey for many years.

The explosions took place near the main train station of Ankara with a short interval, about 10 am local time in the station square began to gather people to participate in the march “for peace and democracy”, organized by the trade unions, human rights and Kurdish groups.

The demonstrators intended to protest against the resumption of fighting between Turkish troops and rebels of the separatist Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the bombings “heinous act of terror.” “I strongly condemn this terrible Padania to our unity and to live in peace in our country”, – said Erdogan.

Among the organizers this action was Kurdish party People’s Democratic Party HDP, one of the campaign rallies where in June in the city of Diyarbakir as an explosion.

The party leadership has issued a statement which says that the activists HDP were the main target of the organizers of explosions Ankara.

The “Twitter” HDP was reported that the police attacked the people who carried the wounded from the explosion site.

EU High Representative for Foreign Policy Federica Mogherini called on Turkey “to unite against terrorists”.

The head of France Francois Hollande called the explosion in Ankara “heinous act” and Russian President Vladimir Putin sent his condolences to President Erdogan.
