At the meeting in Astana, the presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan discussed how to develop economic cooperation in the difficult conditions prevailing in the world. They also spoke about the situation in Ukraine and Syria – need to combine the efforts of all countries in fighting terrorism. On the results of the talks the leaders spoke at a press conference.
The Heads of State paid special attention to trade, investment, energy, transport and space. “Despite the difficult external market fluctuations and falling prices for major items of our exports, exchange rate fluctuations, managed to keep the intensity of our cooperation”, – Vladimir Putin praised.
